1/12 11 phones that make September the biggest month of the year
September is a month that is looking absolutely jam packed as far new smartphones are concerned. With trade show IFA set to get underway this week, followed by what will be arguably the biggest launch – unveiling of iPhones on September 10 – of the year, new smartphones are expected to dominate this month. Lest we forget about new flagship devices from OnePlus and Huawei. Here we look at all the new smartphones that are expected to launch in September:
2/12 Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max: The most expensive iPhone of the year
The iPhone 11 Pro Max (name not confirmed) is expected to feature a 6.5-inch OLED display, a triple rear camera setup and A13 processor which will make it the most expensive iPhone of the year.
3/12 Apple iPhone 11 Pro: The younger sibling of the 2019 iPhones
This is expected to be the smaller screen variant of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. All features are expected to be the same apart from a smaller 5.8-inch display.
4/12 Apple iPhone 11: The most ‘affordable’ iPhone of the year
The successor to the iPhone XR, iPhone XI is rumoured to have a dual rear camera setup and 6.1-inch LCD display which will make it the most ‘affordable’ iPhone of the year.
5/12 OnePlus 7T Pro: Time for T variant of OnePlus’ most expensive smartphone
OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 7T Pro on September 26. It is expected to be powered by the most powerful processor seen on an Android smartphone.
6/12 OnePlus 7T: The ‘affordable’ OnePlus
Like the OnePlus 7 – which was launched with the OnePlus 7 Pro, the T variant of the phone is also expected to come with a slightly more affordable variant. A McLaren edition of OnePlus 7T line up is also expected
7/12 Samsung Galaxy Fold: The foldable phone set to arrive
Although unveiled in February this year, Samsung Galaxy Fold is expected to finally launch this month. It has already been listed on the India website of the company.
8/12 Huawei Mate 30 Pro: Huawei’s flagship of the year
Huawei is facing some tough times because of the US-China trade war but that hasn’t deterred the Chinese company. On September 19, the Huawei Mate 30 will officially be launched and is expected to have a four-camera setup, and a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved edge display that will have a 90Hz refresh rate.
9/12 Huawei Mate 30: The ‘budget’ flagship from Huawei
The second phone from Huawei will be the Mate 30 which is a toned-down version of the Mate 30 Pro and will be launched on September 19.
10/12 Nokia 7.2
HMD Global, the company that has the license to sell Nokia-branded phones, is expected to update a few Nokia phones at IFA. The most prominent one is rumoured to be Nokia 7.2, which will have a circular camera setup at the back.
11/12 Nokia 6.2: The new budget offering from HMD Global
The successor to the hugely popular Nokia 6.1 is also expected to be unveiled at IFA.
12/12 LG V60 ThinQ: LG’s dual-screen phone
A dual-screen phone from LG is set to be launched at IFA. Though the name of the phone hasn’t been confirmed, LG’s invite suggests it will have a dual screen.
