Call of Duty Mobile has received its first update after its launch. Though it is an in-game update, Activision has pushed a new multiplayer game mode along with the update. The new mode is called Free-For-All and as confirmed by a new in-game popup, it is a limited-time mode and will be available till October 17.
Free-For-All mode is available under a new Featured section under the Multiplayer game mode. The mode can be played across all nine maps -- Hijacked, Killhouse, Firing Range, Crash, Crossfire, Raid, Nuketown, Standoff and Takeoff. Players can also opt for Random maps option if they want to experience the new game mode in all the maps.
Being a Call of Duty game, it is expected to abide by the mechanics of the series and that’s exactly the case with the Free-For-All mode in COD Mobile. As per the name, players are free to kill each other and there are no teams here — player reaching the maximum kill of 20 wins. The mode has been there in other COD games from quiet sometimes as a primary or core mode and it is good to see, Activision’s effort of replicating a similar gaming experience to the handheld devices as well.
Those who are new to the game and want to give the game a try can head to respective app stores on their Android or iOS devices and download the game. Also, before jumping into the game, there are a few things one should keep in mind.
First thing, this is a different game compared to PUBG Mobile, especially in terms of multiplayer modes. Also, there are several game modes like Dominations, Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy. Read our article on game modeto get an in-depth understanding of the modes.
